  1-22-17 The station sign says $2.29, but the pump says $2.31. I inquired about it inside and the attended looked at me as if I was speaking another language. I explained it again and his reply was that it was the owners problem and he thought the other stations around were $2.31, as well. I explained that's fine, but beside the point. I went there, which Indo often, because THEIR sign was less-$2.29. Again, he said it was the owners problem. Wrong answer. I think it's the customer's problem, actually. The proper reply would be, "Thank you for telling me. I did not realize the sign and the pump did not match. I will alert the owner right away. I am so sorry for your inconvenience. Is there anything I can do to make this right with you?" I always go to this station in Barrington. I will never darken their door again. There are two other stations on my way. This is illegal and, yes, now it is certainly the owners problem. Way not cool.
